
Roco TT 7390013 Diesel Loco Class T478 c/w DCC & Sound
Class T478.1209 is a diesel electic universal locomotive of the Czec State Railway. Built by the CKD factory in Prague, these Locomotives featured a six-cylinder turbo charged engine, had an output of 1500 hp, and had a top speed of 100 Km/h.
They hauled all kinds of trains trains from international express trains to passenger trains, from heavy goods trains to private goods wagon trains. They were also found at border stations of neighbouring countries. The large stems under the front windows quickly earned her the nickname "Bardotka" loosely related to Brigitte Bardot, the French actress.
This design of the 3rd series had corrugated side walls up to the edge of the roof and is decorated in Red livery with Yellow front beams.
