Woodland B1380 Ballast Medium - Buff - Shaker

Woodland Scenics ballast is made from real crushed rock and stones and Medium grade has a particle size of .8 to 1.5mm. 

It is a prototypical size for HO/OO gauge track. It is also used by some modellers on TT Gauge mainlines, as the ballast size on real mainlines is larger to support high speed trains, so is more prototypically correct for TT mainline routes.

This lighter buff colour adds is an interesting alternative to the standard Grey colours.  It is also often also used to cover Tucking, Logging and Quarry yards to simulate gravel & sand.

 Some Modellers blend their ballast and apply darker colours around stations and in Loco & stock sidings to simulate Oil leakages from locos. Particularly so in sidings used by steam locos.

Supplied in handy Shaker container, with twin flap cap. One side for shaking, the other side for pouring.
