Woodland Scenics ST1407 Foam Risers Height 25mm

High density Foam Risers are a quick & easy method to elevate track. They form a sturdy level track base which dampens sound transmission and eliminate the need to cut plywood Track beds and wooden supporting pillars using Power tools.  They are extremely versatile, can easily be curved and cut with a Foam cutter, sharp knife or fine blade handsaw. Use them with Set Track or Flexi track. They save you time & money, and there is no noise and dust!  

With these 25mm (1") risers you have sufficient height to elevate the track above the base board to add low bridges, culverts etc to add interest to a flat baseboard.

Tip: Glue to your Baseboard using a Hot Glue gun, or if you Baseboard has a cork or Softwood top,  you can use PVA glue with long pins (available for a couple of Dollars at the $2 dollar shops) to secure the foam riser until the glue dries.

Either glue Stone card to the vertical sides, or pack the sides with newspaper to slope and cover with Plaster cloth.
